Summer 2012
During the summer of 2012 Shannon worked out with a personal trainer for a couple of months. Three times each week Waldo came to her house for weight training. In Shannon's words, "We started at 20 minutes and worked up to 30 minutes. We mainly worked all the major muscle group, push-ups, sit-ups, squats, curls, etc. I then would try to exercise on the days he wasn't there. My muscles always get very sore and working out didn't seem to ever improve things. I thought working them might help with detox." Shannon noted that she was diligent to avoid gluten and sugar in her diet during this time also.
