Shannon journaled: "I was beginning the 'Chi-running' method, which I was enjoying. I was just working on form and not going very far or for very long at one time. I was feeling more energized at times. Then I started having some pains just below my knee and in the arches of my feet (which I blamed on standing so much from horse lessons). This is when I started going to the stretch massage therapist, that showed me the pain in my arch was from that muscle below my knee not functioning correctly. Neat stuff! Every time that I tried to run, though, weird muscle things would flare up like that, so I decided I need to detox my muscles before I really start running. I'm afraid I might really hurt something!"
