Professional Treatment
I received treatments from several holistic doctors. A holistic doctor can be a chiropractor, a naturopath or a homeopath. Some osteopathic or medical doctors could be included since it can be any health-care professional who aims to make you a healthy person by using natural means.
"Natural" therapy addresses diet, utilizing vitamins, minerals, herbs, exercise, environmental detoxification, body detoxification, manipulation of the spine, muscle testing (kinesiology), etc.
I highly recommend that you find more than one doctor who can help you if you are on your own road to recovery, and I hope that you are willing to try alternative medicine if you, like me, are getting little or no help from the traditional medical establishment.
Please understand - I am not bashing traditional methods. It's just that I am firmly convinced from my own experience that there are many physical maladies that can be effectively treated by alternative methods. Chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia are two such conditions.
During my initial recovery I was helped by several professionals. I sought the help of three naturopaths (one of which is also a dentist) and several chiropractors. Each of them evaluated my situation and each contributed effectively to my initial recovery. I eventually enlisted the help of a doctor of osteopathy.
I realize you may have some reservations about naturopaths (N.D.), chiropractors and other alternative professionals but if you are at the end of your rope then you, too, may be ready to try an alternative approach.
Below you will find various treatments that were used in my recovery. Some of these are very inexpensive, yet effective, treatments.
